Here is the 2001 Technical Program.

2001 SISC Abstract Books and Citation Policy

We are not planning to put the abstracts on-line this year.  However, we will keep a table of the conference's papers so that work discussed at the SISC can be cited.  The table will include: Title, Authors, and Reference information.   Authors are encouraged to send an updated status of their work to the General Chair for addition to the list.

There will be two ways to cite work presented at the SISC:

  1. A single permanent reference will be kept on this site for each SISC talk or poster presentation that is published elsewhere.  Such work will be referenced as usual (for example Appl. Phys. Let. 43(2) p123).
  2. Presentations that have not been published elsewhere can be immediately cited "as discussed at the 2001 IEEE SISC, San Diego, CA"  It is important to note that this cites the presentation only, and not the Book of Abstracts.

The abstracts reproduced in the Book of Abstracts are for the use of SISC attendees only to encourage participants to submit new, unpublished and sometimes controversial work. Therefore, the conference policy is that the abstracts may not be referenced.

However, the presentation itself, which may be significantly different than the accepted abstracts,  may be cited "as discussed at the 2002 IEEE SISC, San Diego, CA."
