Special Airfare from United Airlines

United Airlines will provide reduced airfare for conference attendees traveling by air to the 2002 IEEE SISC. You will receive 5% off the lowest applicable discount fare, including First Class, or 10% off full fare unrestricted coach fares, purchased 7 days in advance. An additional 5% discount will apply when tickets are purchased at least 60 days in advance of your travel date. To obtain discounted tickets, call United’s Specialized Meeting Reservations Center anytime between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM (EST), 7 days a week at 1-800-521-4041 and be sure to refer to Meeting ID# 594SZ.  (Domestic travel only)

Shuttle service: Shuttle service from the airport: Cloud 9 Shuttle is recommended. The fare is $9.00 per person each way. Call them when you arrive at the airport using the courtesy phone located near the baggage claim area.

By car: Take Interstate 5 North. Exit and turn left on Grand Avenue; heading west towards the Pacific Ocean.  Follow Grand Avenue to Mission Boulevard and turn left. Go approximately 4 blocks; and the Catamaran Resort Hotel will be on the left-hand side, just past Pacific Beach Drive.  It has a large, highly visible, “Tiki” lamp lit on the roof at night.
