Author's Page IMPORTANT NOTES FOR APEC AUTHORSOral Presentation And Dialogue Sessions
For the first time, APEC is hosting sessions with oral presentations of papers and dialogue sessions where the authors can speak more closely with those interested.
Conference RegistrationFor the first time APEC is requiring Authors to register and pay their registration fees by the time their manuscript is submitted to the printer. Authors failing to register and pay may have their papers withdrawn from the conference. See the Author's Kit for details. Manuscript Due DateManuscripts must be uploaded to the IEEE Publishing Web site not later than December 1, 2003. Special Note To Authors Not Living In The United States
At APEC 2003, there were a few authors who were not able to present their papers because they were not able to get a visa for entry into the United States in time. The APEC Conference Committee has discussed how it can assist authors not living in the United States. After consulting with the Conference Management team, the only thing the conference can do is issue letters of invitation to the presenting author with the notification that a paper has been accepted.
The Author's Kit, with instructions on how to prepare your manuscript for publication in the Conference Proceedings, presentation at the conference, copyright release form and other related information has been sent by email.
