The "Initiative for Inert Matrix Fuel" deals with the problem of plutonium and minor actinide excesses, and with their recycling into reactors. The working group has been acting since 1995 and is organising the 6th IMF workshop as a symposium in the frame of the European Material Research Society 2000 spring meeting in Strasbourg.
The proceedings are planned to be published in Progress of Nuclear Energy.
