Abstract :
Features and recent developments of expert systems and fuzzy sets are
discussed. A few examples of the application of expert systems for
designing power electronic equipment, for manufacturing processes and for
automatic control of vehicles are given. Some aspects of further
development of expert systems and the application of fuzzy set theory in
many fields of artificial intelligence are presented.
