The IPFA 2001 Technical
committee invites submission of abstracts in the topic
areas.
Authors are requested to submit a two-page summary by . Abstracts will be accepted only in electronic
format. Send your electronic submissions to the Technical Program Chairman
at ipfa@pacific.net.sg. Please limit abstract file size to a maximum of
2MB. All submissions will be acknowledged within two weeks. If you do not
receive acknowledgment of your submission, please contact the IPFA secretariat.
Procedure for Electronic Submission
Electronic abstract submissions are allowed only in Adobe Acrobat PDF
file formats. No other file formats will be accepted. This is needed to
ensure accurate dissemination of abstract contents.
a) A cover page (page one) with the following information:
1.Preferred Topic area
2.All authors names, affiliation, e-mail, phone and fax numbers (with
country code)
3.Indicate which author is the primary contact.
b) An extended abstract of your work, including a 50-word summary,
on the second and third pages:
This is the body of your work to be reviewed by the technical program
committee and referees. This should contain the text, line drawings, photographs,
and references.
-Choose fonts that are readily available for printing (e.g.
Times New Roman, Arial, Symbol).
-Keep the line spacing (leading) between 10 and 12 points.
-The Margin should not be less than 0.67 inch all around.
-Choose a Paper Size of A4
Kindly note that abstracts exceeding these specifications will be returned
to the author.
c) Convert your document into Adobe acrobat portable document format
(pdf). Kindly note that if your paper/abstracts contain colour images or
graphs, additional suitable printer selection will be required while making
the pdf file.
d) Email the Abstract
Submit your abstract to the Technical Program Chairman at IPFA secretariat
- ipfa@pacific.net.sg, as a single email attachment. That is, the cover
page and two-page extended abstract should be attached as one document.
Include in the email subject line the following: IPFA 2001 and the
first author's last name (e.g. IPFA 2001 Jansen). |
