Properties of the holding current in thyristors are presented.
Measuring method and test results of the influence of negative and
positive (lower than gate trigger currents) gate currents on the holding
current in some power thyristors of European make are discussed. The
influence of temperature of a p-n-p-n structure on tested characteristics
