Abstract :
The operating frequencies increase, and the efficiency has to be
increased. Although the high-speed switches (transistors,
Darlingtons, MOS) have progressed a lot over the last few years, the
fast recovery rectifiers seem to have stayed at the same point.
However, recently, the situation has changed; new technologies have
led to the development of improved fast recovery diodes and these
diodes have been specified under real operating conditions.
