Abstract :
The applications laboratory team of Thomson-Semiconductors, faced
with the problem of characterizing high speed diodes in real
situations and from users queries, were led in 1983 to define new
parameters for a new series of diodes which are better adapted to
the user's requirements than the former ones and enable the designer
to calculate their elements. The aim of this article is to show the
route followed, to define these new parameters, explain their use
and to show how they are measured.
