Dermot M. O'Sullivan
Dermot M. O'Sullivan, a long-time practioneer of power electronics and supporter of the Power Electronics Specialists Conference (PESC), died suddenly June 11, 1997, while at work at the European Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) of the European Space Agency (ESA) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Dermot was a frequent author of papers given at PESC. He was instrumental in helping organize the first PESC held overseas at Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France, in 1985, serving as Publicity Chair and joint organizer of the rap sessions. In addition, he was Chair of an ESA conference that was held in parallel with PESC '85. Back to the Table of Contents
