Between the eighteenth and nineteenth International Telecommunications Energy Conferences INTELEC® '96 and INTELEC® '97, a Telecommunications Energy Special Conference TELESCON '97 will be held at Therrnal Hotel Hélia in Budapest, beginning April 22, 1997 and ending on April 24, 1997.
The motto for TELESCON '97: East and West grow together
Scope of the conference
Telescon '97 is an international forum for the presentation of new developments in telecommunications energy systems. In 1997, Budapest offers a platform for all concerned experts and companies in the field of telecornrnunications power supply systems, new technologies and solutions. Recently, Central and Eastern Europe have become areas of intensive investrnents of telecornmunications systems. Some special regional aspects of power systems will be discussed in detail. We should like to follow the TELESCON tradition started in Berlin in 1994.
Representatives from Eastern and Western parts of the world are expected to demonstrate through technical presentations, posters and exhibitions how East and West grow together in the field of telecommunications power supply systems.
Papers have arrived from all over the world, from which the Organizing Cornmittee has accepted 68 papers. The speakers are from Western Europe (27 papers), Central and Eastern Europe (21 papers), North America (12 papers) and the Far-East (8 papers).
