ESREF 2001, the 12th European
Symposium on Reliability of Electron Devices will take place at Bordeaux
(France) from 1st to 5th October 2001. This event is organised
by the IXL Laboratory (UMR CNRS, ENSERB, University Bordeaux 1) and ADERA with
the technical co-sponsorship of IEEE - Electron Devices Society. The scope of
the previous EOBT, Electron and Optical Beam Test Conference is included
in the ESREF Conference.
This international symposium continues to focus on
recent developments and future directions in Quality and Reliability Management
of materials, devices and circuits for microelectronics. It provides a European
forum for developing all aspects of reliability management and advanced
analysis techniques for present and future semiconductor applications.

Late Registration
Registration received after
September 15, 2001 will not be confirmed. You are strongly advised to bring a
copy of the bank transfer order with you to avoid delay when registering at the

Late Cancellation
Written cancellation
requests will be honoured up to September 15, 2001. If fees are not reimbursed
due to late cancellation, a copy of the conference proceedings will be mailed.

TRANSPORTATION
Special free buses will take participants from Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport to Arcachon on :
Monday, October 1 at 8:30 a.m.
Monday,
October 1 at 6:30 p.m.
and pick them up back to Bordeaux train station
and Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport on :
Friday,
October 5 at 1:30 p.m.
Local transportation also exists for the
transfer from Bordeaux to Arcachon. Airport shuttle leaves Mérignac-airport
every 45 minutes towards the train station of Bordeaux. The Bordeaux-Arcachon
trip duration by train is about one hour. The train station of Arcachon is five
minutes walk from the « PALATIUM ».
Please ask for the train schedule to the conference
secretariat when registering at ESREF 2001.
For information, the average fare from
Bordeaux-Mérignac International Airport to the PALATIUM of Arcachon
is 500 FF.
MEALS :
The banquet invitation is included in
the registration fees for the conference.
For lunches, a service will be
organized at the PALATIUM on Tuesday, October 2, Wednesday, October 3 and
Thursday, October 4 at noon.
