General Instructions for the Preparation of Your Contribution
1. Confirmation of Submission
You are requested to
complete and return the requested list of forms.
Your personal coordinates, as indicated on the host http://epe2001.wamisoft.be will be used as entry for the Provisional
Programme. You should check it and make necessary corrections.
The Copyright Form should be sent in before 15 May 2001 .
Your Conference
Registration Form
can also be downloaded from this homepage.
Prepayment should be sent in before 15 May 2001 to allow you to upload your paper in
time.
You will be notified of the final decision on your paper around 20 June 2001.
2. Preparation of the Contribution
You should first
carefully read the document Instructions
for Electronic File Format (ElectronicFile.pdf) . In the paragraph " How to
transfer your document to EPE", it is explained how
you will be able to upload your paper.
The
.doc files and the .dot - files for Word 2000 are
available for download from
http://epe2001.wamisoft.be.
Please use only keywords from the official List of Keywords (Keywords.pdf) .
Please fill out the Authors Inquiry (Authorsinquiry-CD-ROM.pdf) for the CD-ROM-Proceedings.
Make sure that you check your personal data on the host http://epe2001.wamisoft.be .
You will be able
to upload your paper once the registration
form and the payment have reached
us, but only ONE time
before the deadline. By uploading your paper, you
strictly agree that the paper version is the one that
will be included into the proceedings (CD-ROM). So we
recommend your paper being carefully checked before uploading.
To avoid any misunderstanding, make sure that the payment
procedure has been started.
IMPORTANT! The committee has decided to give the
participants one Proceedings Book
including one page information per paper. You should prepare this
page keeping in mind that the reader will decide on this page
whether to visit your session or not. The page should contain all
relevant information but should not be filled with details. The
page should be formatted in "portrait", 2.5 centimeters
will be left free at the footer to allow the introduction of a
pagenumber. Formatting guidelines are described in the pdf file:

Proceedings (Proceedings Book.pdf) . A paper copy of this page should be sent
by mail to the EPE Association secretariat, whereas the
electronic file format (.pdf) of the page is to be e-mailed as an
attachment to phamache@vub.ac.be .
The file will be named as TyyPR0XXXX.pdf. yy being the
topic No. the paper belongs to and XXXX being the paper No. you
have used preceded with SREG, SN and now PP in the following
procedure. Topic No., paper No. and the authors coordinates must
be included in the e-mail message. Any change of affiliation or
correction of coordinates will be entered via the host and only
via the host.
3. Copyright
You are asked to agree, as a condition for publication, to assign the copyright of the material to the European Power Electronics Association. Although this assignment is a requirement for publication, its purpose is to control reproduction, so that inaccurate conclusions are not drawn from selective quotations of the publication.
A Copyright Form, which
you have to complete, is enclosed in Copyright
Form (CopyrightForm.pdf) .
You have to return it in order to confirm that the material
contained in your paper is released for publication.
4. Fees and Expenses
You should note that organizers do not meet travelling or subsistance expenses for authors, either prior to or during the conference.
5. Deadlines
Immediately: check and eventually correct your personal coordinates
Copyright Form, Conference Registration Form (one per person and per paper) and payment: 15 May 2001
Full paper: 31 May 2001
You have to pay
EUR 60,-- if you upload
the full paper from 1 June until 15 June and
EUR 100,-- if you upload the full paper from 16 June until 30 June.
Notification to authors of the final decision: around 20 June 2001 for the received papers.
July 2001 : scheme of presentation (lecture or dialogue as requested on the notification mail) to your session chair
