Invitation to EAEEIE'2005

Dear Colleagues,

The European Association for Education in Electrical and Information Engineering (EAEEIE) has organised its annual conferences in 15 cities all over Europe. The conferences have brought together University teachers and researchers working in the field of electrical and information engineering (EIE), in order to exchange experiences and bring new innovations to the EIE education. European higher education institutions have accepted the challenge to construct the European area of higher education and to ensure that higher education and research systems continuously adapt to changing needs, society's demands and advances in scientific knowledge. EAEEIE has actively participated in this so called Bologna process trying to create comparable curricula and to develop new tools for education.

Now the Conference Organising Committee has started the preparations for the 16 th EAEEIE Annual Conference. The Conference Organising Committee ascertains that your presence in Lappeenranta (Finland) will give vent to creative and impressive experience. The following pages include a variety of information about the subject matter of the Conference, its programme, the terms and conditions of participation. We hope that this information will encourage you to take part in this significant event. The final success of the Conference depends heavily upon your active participation.
