The international 2003 Future Energy Challenge official announcement is now available through the www.energychallenge.org web site.  Student teams from anywhere in the world are invited to become involved.  The participation is by proposal.  Schools interested in the Challenge need to provide a Letter of Intent by April 1, 2002.  They will then receive a complete Request for Proposal, and proposals are to be submitted by May 31, 2002.

The January 2002 newsletter is now posted in PDF format.

Congratulations to the new 2002 class of IEEE Fellows.  Fellow is the highest grade of membership.  Each year, less than 0.1% of IEEE members are elected to the grade of Fellow based on a nomination and rigorous review process.
