The conference will take place at the Grazer Congress. It is an old building with old ornaments and decorations and modern equipment located in the centre of the town, near the Town Hall and the Landhaus / Armoury. Congresses and music performances take place here regularly. The entrance is at the corner Landhausgasse / Sparkassenplatz. From the central tramway stop at the Hauptplatz you reach the Grazer Congress with a 2 minutes foot walk passing the front of the Town Hall.

Proceedings on CD-ROM (full paper) and as a book (1 page per paper) will be published by the EPE Association, Brussels, and handed out to the participants at the conference. Proceedings on CD-ROM and the proceedings book are included in the full registration fee. Participants will be able to consult the CD-ROM on site in the Grazer Congress. A special computer room will be open for this activity. In order to prepare themselves for the conference, the participants will be able to read the abstracts of all the conference papers on our web site some weeks before the conference starts.

Lunches will be served each day in special restaurants at 13h00. One lunch ticket for each day is included in the full registration fee. All tickets will be provided at the registration, they have to be presented for service. Please note that the lunch ticket is valid only on this day and for the specific restaurant printed on the ticket. Lunch tickets are non refundable. Some additional lunch tickets can be bought at the registration counter.

During the EPE 2001 Conference, a
commercial exhibition is organised. This is a unique opportunity
to see and / or show products and have prolonged discussions with
fellow specialists in the whole field of Power Electronics and
Drives.
The aim of the exhibition is to promote technical discussions and
business contacts between specialists in the field. The
exhibition is integrated in the conference, close to the main
lecture presentation halls, directly in between the dialogue
presentation areas and the spots where the coffee will be served
during the morning breaks and in the afternoons.
We expect that over 40 companies will show their products at the
exhibition. At the printing deadline of this programme, Ansoft
Corporation, Applied Magnetics, Caspoc, CE + T, Cool Structures,
dSpace, EBG, Eupec, Infineon, IXYS, NFO-Control,
On-Semiconductor, PEM, Power Electronic Measurements, Semikron,
SIEMENS, Simulation Research and Technosoft SA already signed up
for a booth.

The tutorial attendees will meet at the Grazer Congress between 7h40 and 8h00. The tutorials take place in nice locations outside of Graz, a bus transport to the sites is provided, therefore it will be necessary that the attendees will be at the Grazer Congress in due time. A lunch is included. The tutorial paticipants are invited to attend a local sight-seeing or wellness activity. Bus transport back to Graz will be organised.

The full registration fee includes
admittance to all sessions, one CD-ROM and one proceedings book,
tickets for lunches and coffee during the conference, tickets for
the Conference Reception and the Conference Gala dinner.
The full registration fee is EUR 560,-- before 25 June 2001. EUR
620,-- is to be paid between 26 June 2001 and 31 July 2001. After
31 July 2001 the conference fee is EUR 680,--. EPE Members get a
discount of EUR 50,-- on their conference registration. Please
observe that both the registration form and the fee must be
received by the Conference Secretariat before June 26 to obtain
the low fee of EUR 560,-- or before 1 August 2001 to obtain the
fee of EUR 620,--. For all payments received after 31 July 2001,
including on-site registration, the high fee of EUR
680,--applies. You are asked to send your conference registration
form as soon as possible. On-site registrations where we did not
receive your registration form and payment before will take some
longer time.
Every presented paper has to be covered by a corresponding full
registration fee of at least one of the authors.
Students may get a 50 % discount on the rates described above
provided that they are not the authors responsible for the full
registration fee payment attributed to every individual paper,
and that they send a recent proof of their student status.
For accompanying persons and students additional tickets for the
reception and the conference banquet can be ordered with the
registration form. Lunch tickets for accompanying persons can be
bought at the conference site.
Please note: The registration deadline for hotel reservations is
10 July 2001. After this date we are only able to confirm hotel
accommodation on an availability basis. Therefore, we strongly
recommend you to register as early as possible.

Payment should be remitted in EUR. Bank, currency and transfer charges are the responsibility of the payee. Please ensure the organiser is paid the full amount due, and state the name(s) of the participant(s) clearly on all payments, and if applicable, also the paper numbers. Please note that the receipt of payment in due time for every paper is necessary that this specific paper will be included in the proceedings.

The general way of payment will be by bank transfer. Please do not initiate a bank transfer after 13 August 2001. In such a case the payment might not reach us before the conference, so we ask you to pay the corresponding amount on-site in ATS or by credit card but in any case send us your conference registration form indicating "PAYMENT ON-SITE" in the payment line as soon as possible.

Cancellation must be received in writing by the conference secretariat. Cancellations received prior to 25 June 2001 will be subject to EUR 60,-- administration charge. For cancellations received after this date the registration fees are non-refundable. Substitutes will be accepted at any time.
