Abstract:
Measurements on an experimental active power line conditioner with a novel switch
control scheme for the neural network controller, called "fixed-frequency with
variable slope" control, are described. The results agree with simulations and show
that the new system is a simple yet effective approach to line current harmonic
compensation.
